Medicare review recommends overhaul to access health system

A review of Australia's ailing Medicare system has made sweeping recommendations to overhaul access to the universal healthcare scheme. The Federal Health Minister has committed to reform, but warns it won't be fast, or cheap. Meanwhile, decisions about hospital funding, have been delayed as state premiers met with the Prime Minister in Canberra.
