Meet the Aussie engineers forging a path toward solar-powered electric vehicles

Teams of engineers around the world and at home are gearing up for the 2025 World Solar Challenge. Western Sydney University students have today unveiled what they've described as their most innovative solar car design yet — which they'll race across the Australian outback against 37 other teams. The initiative hopes to provide a much needed push for Australians towards environmentally friendly vehicles.
