Mehreen Faruqi's racial discrimination case against Pauline Hanson begins

A racial vilification trial brought by Greens Senator Mehreen Faruqi against One Nation Leader Pauline Hanson has begun in the Federal Court. Ms Faruqi is alleging a social media comment Ms Hanson made breached the Racial Discrimination Act, while Ms Hanson is arguing she has a right to freedom of political expression.
