Minimum wages for millions of Australians to rise by 3.75%

Millions of Australian workers will get a pay increase after the industrial umpire ruled they should get a boost. The Fair Work Commission increasing the minimum and award wages by 3.75%, meaning the nation's lowest paid workers will earn no less than $24.10 per hour from July 1. It's an increase the government can campaign on all the way to the next election, but the opposition has raised fears it will fuel inflation.
