Mushroom killer Erin Patterson confronted by grieving families in Supreme Court
Published
Convicted triple murderer Erin Patterson has appeared in a Melbourne court for the first time since her guilty verdict, in a mushroom poisoning case that made headlines around the world. Patterson fronted a plea hearing in the state's Supreme Court, where she heard victim impact statements from the families of her three murder victims, as well as the sole surviving lunch guest, Ian Wilkinson. The local pastor at the Korumburra Baptist Church forgave Patterson for the harms she committed against him, but promised he would seek justice for the deaths of his wife Heather Wilkinson, and Don and Gail Patterson.
