A nationwide heatwave has sparked emergency bushfire warnings, as parts of the country are hit with the most severe conditions not felt since the Black Summer. Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria, Tasmania, New South Wales and the ACT are set to swelter through soaring temperatures into the weekend.
