New research reveals class bias limiting career progression

Diversity Council Australia says class bias is shaping career opportunities with 58 per cent of employers saying they prefer candidates from so-called 'elite' universities and 30 per cent preferring candidates from private high schools over public schools. Some even using these to filter out job applications during recruitment.
