Newly re-elected government urges above-inflation minimum wage rise for over three million workers

The government has called on the Fair Work Commission to lift the wages of more than three million workers above the rate of inflation. The move was a key election pledge from the Prime Minister who's rounded out his first official overseas visit since being re-elected.
