NSW lashed by severe storms leaving one man dead and thousands without power

A man in his 80s has been killed in Cowra after a tree fell on his vehicle, and more than 100,000 people have been without power after wild storms lashed New South Wales overnight. The state's emergency services responded to more than 3,000 incidents after winds up to 120km an hour were recorded. Severe storms are expected to continue across the state. The Bureau of Meteorology says minor flooding is also possible for areas including the North Coast and Hunter regions.
