New South Wales Police has applied to the Supreme Court to prohibit two pro-Palestinian demonstrations planned in Sydney on October 6th and 7th. It's cited security concerns, saying although organisers have submitted the required paperwork, police are not satisfied the rallies can proceed safely. Palestine Action Group says the demonstrations will go ahead, and they're ready to deal with the repercussions.
