NSW state gun laws are now Australia's toughest

New South Wales now has the toughest gun laws in the country. They were among a suite of new changes aimed at cracking down on protests, and hate speech, which passed the state parliament. The changes were put through in an emergency sitting, in response to the Bondi terror attack. But the legislation wasn't passed easily - it was debated well into the early hours of this morning.
