A man has died after being struck by a falling tree on the New South Wales Central Coast. The tree hit the 76-year-old during a storm this afternoon, which affected many parts of the State, sparking transport delays and leaving thousands without power. Catastrophic fire warnings were issued across New South Wales today for the first time since 2023.
