Sydney-based Nikhil Autar has been honoured as the NSW Young Australian of the Year 2024. The son of migrants from Fiji and India Mr Autar was diagnosed with leukemia, while still in high school, and has now graduated as a doctor. Now aged 30, he's been recognised for his innovative work in helping people with disabilities.
