Police remove Olympic stadium protesters from Brisbane's Victoria Park

Queensland Police have forcefully evicted protesters from Brisbane’s Victoria Park as a dispute over the construction of the 2032 Olympic Stadium escalates. Several people were arrested during the operation, which saw dozens of officers and Brisbane City Council staff deployed to the site. Construction on the stadium is due to begin next week despite growing concerns from Traditional Owners and community groups.
