Prosecution grills Sam Kerr during racial harassment trial

Sam Kerr has denied using ‘whiteness as an insult’ during the argument with a police officer that led to her being charged with racially aggravated harassment. Her fiancée and American footballer Kristie Mewis also gave evidence, claiming the policeman had treated the Australian ‘differently’ to her.
