Qantas posts record profits as Qatar Airways buys stake in Virgin Australia

Qantas has said after a period of high prices, international airfares are starting to normalise, but demand is still there. While Qatar Airways' move to take a 25% stake in Virgin Australia means the two can partner up to deliver 28 weekly return flights from some Australian capitals to Doha, adding more capacity and competition to the market.
