Regional bank closures to stop in new deal with Australia Post

The major banks have agreed to stop regional bank closures for the next two and a half years, while a new deal has been signed with Australia Post for it to continue offering in-person banking services. There are already 3,400 Bank@Post services across the country, which put through 17 million transactions last financial year.
