Report prompts calls for rapid action on climate policy

Climate Change Minister Chris Bowen has warned Australia's energy networks could be targeted during extreme weather events caused by global warming. Mr Bowen delivered the government's annual climate change statement which showed it is not yet on track to reach a key 2030 target conceding more work needs to be done.
