Robodebt Royal Commission report released, recommending civil and criminal prosecutions

The Royal Commission into Robodebt has labeled the debt recovery scheme an "extraordinary saga" of "venality, incompetence and cowardice". The report, which has been released publicly, is almost 1000 pages long across three volumes and makes 57 recommendations. The Commissioner, Catherine Holmes, has recommended that unnamed individuals be referred for criminal and civil prosecution.
