Rottnest Island ceremony remembers Indigenous deaths in custody

It has been 185 years since Wadjemup, also known as Rottnest Island in Western Australia, was established as an Aboriginal prison. Traditional owners have gathered to hold a remembrance ceremony, and to urge the state government to better protect the burial sites and sacred land. And a warning to Indigenous viewers that this story contains images of people who have died.
