Five players have been stood down for the rest of the season for breaching club standards. No charges have been laid against any of the players. The league's CEO today confirmed the sanctioned players are not welcome at the Brownlow Medal ceremony, which recognises the "fairest and best" player of the season, next month. “The invitations for the Brownlow will be going out this week, those players won’t be invited,” Dillon said.
