Scott Morrison defies calls to resign saying he did what he ‘thought was necessary’

Former Prime Minister Scott Morrison has resisted calls to resign over his secret appointment to five additional ministries during the pandemic. Mr Morrison today gave his first press conference since his election defeat, defending his legacy as Prime Minister and painting a picture of compounding crises to explain his decisions.
