SES resources stretched thin as NSW floods trap residents
Published
NSW emergency services are delivering serious warnings about unfolding flooding around the Hunter and Mid North Coast. Some parts of the state have seen 450 millimetres of rain fall in the last two days. Emergency level warnings are in place, and water is surging through communities with tens of thousands of people left isolated. Authorities are warning they cannot guarantee people will be rescued in the next 24 to 48 hours.
