Solomon Islands countdown to Pacific Games

The starting gun is about to signal the start of the biggest Pacific Games in its 60 year history. Frantic last-minute preparations are underway in the Solomon Islands’ capital Honiara, as five-thousand athletes, and officials from twenty-four nations and territories are gathering for the opening ceremony on Sunday night.
