Supermarkets trial single-use plastic bag free check outs

While some states have gone without single-use plastic bags for years, shoppers in other states trialled it for the first time today. The move comes ahead of a nationwide ban on plastic bags from the major supemarkets in July in attempt to reduce plastic pollution.
