Many regional towns across Australia struggle to attract essential workers - including doctors, teachers and aged-care staff with a lack of affordable housing among the key factors exacerbating the issue. An initiative, currently operating in parts of regional New South Wales, is looking to change that by offering essential workers support to help ease the transition and make them feel welcome in their new communities.
