Sussan Ley elected as first female leader of Liberal Party

The Liberal Party has elevated Sussan Ley to become the first woman to lead the party in its history. The numbers were tight as she managed to secure the leadership by four votes, and she now faces an enormous task of uniting the party during a deeply fractured period after the election loss.
