Sydney Swans confirm several players involved in alleged incident

The Sydney Swans are tonight facing questions about a number of players' involvement in an alleged sexual assault in Melbourne. Victoria Police are investigating the incident, reported to have taken place at a hotel after the Swans' Sunday night match against Essendon. Sydney Swans CEO Matthew Pavlich has confirmed that "several players" were involved in the alleged incident, and that the club is working with relevant authorities. "We're extremely shocked and disappointed that this has taken place, and that he players have found themselves in this situation," Pavlich said.
