At the heart of the social media ban - the young people being impacted. Thousands of users who have not known a world without these platforms as primary forms of expression, communication and creativity have lost access. Many were quick to criticise, saying age verification tools can be easily duped. Others have already moved on to replacement platforms left unchecked.
