Telstra glitch highlights gaps in emergency network

Police are investigating the death of a South Australian woman, following reports that linked it to the Telstra outage. The telco says connectivity has now been fully restored. Telstra says 639 welfare checks have been made for people who couldn't reach triple zero, 170 were passed on to state police and seven people reported needing assistance.
