The Australian Greens, currently led by Adam Bandt, formally began on 30 August 1992, when representatives from state-based Green parties met in Sydney to form a new federal party. It began as a "protest" party, but are they now a part of the furniture in parliament? We take a look at the evolution of the Australian Greens.
