The Disability Royal Commission has turned its attention to the challenges faced by people with disability in youth detention and adult prisons in Western Australia. The inquiry is examining the conditions faced by detainees, the extent of intellectual and psycho-social disabilities and their impact on the over-representation of First Nations people. To protect privacy, the names in the following report have been changed.
