The dream of home ownership slipping out of reach for many young Australians

A long running survey of Australian households has found wealth inequality reached its highest level in over two decades at the end of the pandemic with average incomes. The survey also revealed an age disparity, with wealth increasingly concentrated among older Australians who own their homes.
