New research could now confirm the 2015 claim that the Rothschild Bronzes are the only known surviving bronze masterpieces by Michelangelo. A team of researchers led by Fitzwilliam Museum at Cambridge University say new evidence, including 30 letters written by the artist to his family and the statues anatomical detail, reveal the bronze statues are indeed the work of Michaelangelo.
