A remote Northern Territory community is celebrating its achievements, 50 years after defying orders to stop teaching in language. SBS Correspondent Laetitia Lemke travelled with the NT Education Department to Yirrkala in northeast Arnhem Land, 900 kilometres from Darwin, where bilingual schooling has been a success story. And a warning to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander viewers: this story includes images and voices of people who have died.
