Trump’s Gold Coast tower plan scrapped due to ‘toxic’ brand

Plans to build a 91-storey Trump Tower on the Gold Coast have been scrapped. The project to develop a site in Surfers Paradise was announced by the Trump organisation in February. But it proved divisive among locals, with some welcoming the news of the abandoned proposal.
