US tariff of 100 per cent on pharma trade announced ahead of Trump-Albanese meeting

The government and medical companies have been sent scrambling to understand the implications of the Trump administration's latest tariff move. 100 per cent duties on imports will apply to branded pharmaceuticals under certain conditions, coming into effect at the start of next month. $2 billion of Australian trade is under scrutiny.
