Victoria's First People's Assembly is ready to negotiate a treaty

History has been made in Victoria, with the state's Indigenous representative body formally confirming it is ready to negotiate with the government on a state-wide treaty. In a ceremony, the First Peoples' Assembly of Victoria gave its declaration to the new independent treaty umpire.
