Victoria's most multicultural communities are disproportionately searched, a police study finds

A study of Victoria Police search powers has found the state's most racially diverse communities are singled out even when their crime rates are lower. The Centre Against Racial Profiling says a decade after the practice was banned in the state more needs to be done to tackle bias.
