Vinnies in Darwin faces homelessness

Some of the Northern Territory’s most powerful people will take a night under the stars this week, sleeping rough to raise money for St Vincent de Paul’s homeless services. Homelessness rates lead the nation in the Territory. While one in 95 Australians accessed homeless services in 2022-23, one in 25 people needed help. But in Darwin, the St Vincent de Paul Service that so many rely on is facing homelessness itself.
