Virgin Hyperloop completes first passenger test on new high-speed transport system
Published
Richard Branson's Virgin Hyperloop has completed the world's first passenger ride on a high-speed levitating pod system, a key safety test for technology it hopes will transform human and cargo transportation. It's said to deliver airline speeds, the same G-forces as rail, and the ease of riding a metro. People can travel in a vacuum tube with speeds as high as 1080 km/h, according to Virgin Hyperloop.
