WA farmers protest against planned live export ban

Western Australia's farming community has come out in force to protest a ban on live sheep exports. WA accounts for almost all of the nation's $85 million live sheep export industry, with the 'Keep the Sheep' campaign pushing the Albanese government to scrap legislation introduced this week. The plan would see live exports by sea phased out by May 2028.
