It's the start of the new financial year, and there are many new changes coming into effect. Superannuation is a big change — one that affects every working Australian. From today, the Superannuation Guarantee rises for the final time, after gradually increasing annually from 9 per cent to 12 per cent. This is the compulsory contribution your employer must tip into your super fund, and has boosted Austraila 's retirement savings pool into one of the largest in the world.
