A fast-moving blaze in Victoria has threatened homes just north of Melbourne, as researchers warn of grassfire conditions on a scale 'never experienced before' in Australia. The findings released by the Climate Council show the last three years of excessive rainfall across the east coast, have led to an increased risk of major fires.
