The city of Logan has one of the largest Hmong communities in Queensland. An Indigenous ethnic group from southeast Asia, many Hmong families fled Laos during the Vietnam War in the 1970s, facing political persecution. With a growing diaspora, young girls and teens are staying connected to their culture through dance.
