Where is it?

St George’s Chapel in the grounds of Windsor Castle, about 32km west of central London.

Windsor is an official residence of Queen Elizabeth II and the chapel has a capacity of about 800 people.

What time does it start?

The event begins about 6pm AEST on Saturday (9am UK time). This is when guests will start to arrive.

1,200 members of the public have been invited to watch outside the church.

Between 6.30pm-8pm AEST the main guests will arrive. It’s unknown who has been invited to watch the couple marry in person.

At about 8.20pm AEST the royal family will reportedly arrive, with the Queen entering the Chapel last, as is tradition.

Kensington Palace says Princes William and Harry will arrive together on foot.

As guests gather at the chapel, Ms Markle and her mother will leave their hotel and travel to the castle where the public will get their first glimpse of the bride-to-be.

The ceremony is expected to begin about 9pm AEST and last for one hour.

Following the ceremony, the newlyweds will greet guests outside the chapel and leave Windsor Castle in a carriage.

They will attend the reception hosted by the Queen at St George’s Hall in the castle grounds and the public aspects of the day will come to an end.

When is the kiss?

There’s been no announcement about when the couple might share their first married kiss in public and there is no balcony schedule for this.

How can I watch it on TV?

The wedding and procession will be broadcast live on television networks around the world.

All major television networks including SBS will be covering the event for Australian audiences.

Watch the Royal Wedding Live on TV on SBS from 7.30pm Saturday, May 19 and on SBS On Demand. The main event will be aired on SBS from 9pm AEST.

Fresh from Eurovision, Myf Warhust and Joel Creasey will team up with Ray Martin to present live coverage and explore what the wedding will mean for Australia.

Since dating in 2016, Prince Harry and Ms Markle's relationship has broken social, cultural and racial barriers while busting the traditional norms of the British monarchy.

More than just commentary, SBS will provide a place for conversation about cross-cultural marriages and the republic debate.

Where else can I keep up to date?

Those in London can attend main viewing parties including an outdoor screening at Kensington Palace.

New Zealanders can also watch from 10.30pm on TVNZ.

And wherever you are in the world, SBS News Online and the SBS News app will bring you the latest updates and pictures from the event throughout the evening.
