EXCLUSIVE: Kruse in and Vidosic out at Liaoning

The impending arrival of Australia attacker Robbie Kruse at Liaoning Whowin is set to herald the Chinese Super League departure of one-time Socceroo Dario Vidosic.

The former Adelaide United and Western Sydney Wanderers playmaker has options to return to the A-League or pursue opportunities in Thailand or Dubai, according to his agent Ante Alilovic.

Vidosic, 29, who joined Liaoning as a replacement for compatriot James Troisi in July, made 13 appearances in a variety of positions during his six-month spell, with the club opting not to take up the option on a contract extension.

"We are in the process of negotiating Dario's release from the club and there is considerable interest for him," said Alilovic.

"There are a couple of A-League clubs who are keen, as well as clubs in Dubai and Thailand.

"Dario did well, playing in several roles, which is never easy."

It's believed that Liaoning's other resident Aussie, Michael Thwaite, who made 24 appearances last season after signing from Perth Glory, might also be on his way, with yet another Australian - this time a midfielder - tipped to come the other way in what is becoming a revolving door for Australian talent.

Kruse, who has agreed terms on a two-season deal, is expected to arrive in China with his agent next week after ratifying his departure from German Bundesliga giant Bayer Leverkusen.
