How to watch the 2026 Tour of Britain LIVE on SBS

The 2026 edition of the Tour of Britain marks an incredible milestone in the race's development. For the first time ever, both the men's and women's races will be held over five stages.

The men's race will be held from Wednesday 2 September to Sunday 6 September 2026. Starting in Lincoln, England and ending in Earlston, Scotland it spans 910.3km and two countries.

The race will begin in Lincoln before visiting Boston, Skegness, Hull, Beverley, Helmsley, Leyburn, Kelso, and Earlston, and along the way offers a variety of parcours featuring sprint opportunities, rolling terrain, and intense climbing stages.

The Tour of Britain Women will be held from Wednesday 19 August to Sunday 23 August. It starts in Cumbria, England and ends in Leamington Spa, England. The race spans 636.2km and two countries.

For the men's Tour of Britain, some top teams have already been confirmed to be taking part in this year's race including - Soudal Quick-Step and UAE Team Emirates - XRG. Australian Team Jayco AlUla has not been confirmed in the Tour of Britain, but Liv AlUla Jayco will take part in the women's race.

For the Tour of Britain Women, most of the top World Tour teams are set to feature, including - FDJ United - SUEZ, Team Visma Lease a Bike and Australian team Liv AlUla Jayco.

Some of the top cyclists in the world will also be fresh off the Tour de France Femmes including Lotte Kopecky (Team SD Worx - Protime), Lorena Wiebes (Team SD Worx - Protime) and Kim Le Court Pienaar (AG Insurance - Soudal)

There are also a handful of Aussies competing in the Tour of Britain Women - Maeve Plouffe (O'Shea Red Chilli Bikes), Josie Talbot (Liv AlUla Jayco), Alexandra Manly (AG Insurance - Soudal Team), Amber Pate (Liv AlUla Jayco) and Georgia Baker (Liv AlUla Jayco).
