The Daily Mirror report that both Huddersfield and fellow strugglers Crystal Palace are keen on the Groningen man, and could look to swoop when the transfer window reopens early next year.

Hrustic has one international cap after coming on as a substitute in the Socceroos' 4-0 loss to Brazil at the MCG in June 2017.

The 22-year-old, formerly of South Melbourne, had spells with Nottingham Forest, Austria Wien and Schalke before signing his first professional contract with Eredivisie outfit Groningen.
