As elite football around the world is placed on hold due to the coronavirus outbreak, FIFA has stepped up to try and fill the void by delving into their World Cup archive.

Using their official YouTube channel, a number of famous World Cup encounters will be replayed in full for the enjoyment of the football-starved faithful.

The latest offering was the World Cup quarter-final clash between Brazil and France at Germany 2006.

In a tightly-fought contest, the French edged past the South Americans 1-0 on their way to an appearance in the World Cup final.
